Townsville West State School is the second oldest school in Townsville, located at the base of Castle Hill as you head into the city. We are near the intersection of Ingham Road and Sturt Street, West End. Our campus is located on the very quiet Wilson St and is immediately behind the old, imposing 3 storey red brick building, which was our earlier premises.
We currently have about 105 students from year prep to year 6. Our school hours are 8.55 am to 3.00 pm school days. Our partnership with the Castle Hill PCYC provides before and after school care for those of our students who require this service. We value and promote the traditional values of hard work, respect, manners and considering the feelings of others.
