Townsville West State School is the second oldest school in Townsville, located at the base of Castle Hill as you head into the city. We are near the intersection of Ingham Road and Sturt Street, West End. Our campus is located on the very quiet Wilson St and is immediately behind the old, imposing 3 storey red brick building, which was our earlier premises. The old building is in the process of being renovated into Westlake Private Hospital.
We currently have approximately 110 students enrolled at our school from prep to year 6. Our school hours are 8.55 am to 3.00 pm school days. We value and promote the traditional values of hard work, showing respect and using your manners. Townsville West promotes a 'choose kind' culture across our whole school community.
